advertising their company or business through ChefEd’s Restaurant.
The forms of advertising include Ad space and Internet exposure.

Publishing Information
ChefEd’s Restaurant is offering, to all those interested, an opportunity to advertise through purchasing Ad space on the ChefEd’s Restaurant To-Go Menu. The menu is published monthly and is distributed at the local level.
ChefEd’s Restaurant is also offering Internet exposure in conjunction with the purchase of Ad space. The Internet sites that will hold the advertisement are the ChefEd’s Restaurant web page which will be availble for informational purposes or for online ordering and the site of the ChefEd Preferred Products Store.
Advertising Policy
- Please see the ChefEd’s Restaurant Advertising Contract on the next page, fill in the required information and fax to Chef Ed Rhinehart at 985-764-6505 or make an appointment for pick-up service. Contracts may also be mailed to ChefEd, please call 504-756-7769 for the mailing address.
- Ad copy must be black and white and in graphic file format (EPS, AI, high-res PDF, or TIF). Ads cannot be accepted in Word or QuarkXpress. Ad copy must be received by the Ad deadlines.
- Advertising that was rejected due to lack of space will be fully refunded and reserved on priority for the following month’s Ad lineup.
- Ads are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis and space availability. Advertisers with existing reservations have priority for placement.
- No bleeds or negatives, please. Ads are printed in black and white only.
- You may either be On Contract or be Without Contract. Being on Contract represents a savings of about 10% and includes Internet Exposure as outlined later in this packet. If the contract is not Pre-Paid, we will bill you monthly. You will have an option of billing times which are as follows; the 1st of the month, the 16th of the month and the 30th of the month. Once you sign a contract, you may not change your monthly billing option.

* Totals include Sales Tax. Ad sizes are approximate, as they can vary slightly to fit the monthly format of the menu.
Internet Exposure consists of being presented as a Sponsor on www.ChefEds.com, the ChefEd’s Restaurant Website… and as a Preferred Customer or Sponsor on www.amusedfoods.com, ChefEd’s Website, and the location of the ChefEd Preferred Products Store, which contains products that will be available for sale in ChefEd’s Restaurant. Both of these sites are high traffic sites used by residents of the area and visitors seeking information about local dining.
Sponsors are described as “the businesses that care enough about ChefEd’s Restaurant and the use of fresh and local products to support the Websites”. Your Ad will appear on both sites as a Sponsor (or Preferred Customer) in a 2”x 4” format. A portion of all advertising dollars go toward keeping the Websites up and running.

Also, I understand that in the event a contract period is not fulfilled, I am liable for the difference between the contract percentage and the regular Ad price. Please note, the enforcement of the preceeding sentence depends upon circumstances – we are very understanding of unexpected problems that occur in businesses and will work with you on this.

All Ads shouod be in by the 16th of that month’s menu. Ads will run again automatically for contract customers if no changes are received by the 16th of the month. ChefEd’s Restaurant reserves the right to refuse Ads that it deems out-of-character and/or contrary to the purposes of our menu or the welfare of it’s readers.
