The Short Story…

Going to visit MaMa Shake was always a fun experience. She made me feel like I was part of the family and soon, cooking with her became one of my favorite culinary pastimes. She had a passion and care for the food that could never be taught and you could taste this same passion in PaPa Shakes tomatoes. They cared about the products they produced and the flavor reflected it. There were no substitutions. It was only the best or you didn’t eat.

One of the places MaMa Shake relied on for good quality groceries was Totsies. The store would deliver the groceries or bag them for pickup. To this day there still hangs, on the wall, the list of Totsies preferred customers with their account numbers. The name of Hank, "PaPa Shake", is still on the list, as if time stood still.

What we would like you to imagine is taking MaMa Shake’s Sunday meals, the love and care PaPa Shake had for fresh, high quality local produce, and Totsies customer service, quality groceries and warm heart and stir them up everyday into a lunch special or a local favorite meal. All of this in the original Totsies old store!

Soon, you will no longer have to imagine this. It will be reality. With a little help from you.

The following materials outline your chance to become part of something really big. Just think about how proud you will be to sit down at the table, eating one of Chef Ed’s meals, inspired by all this history, and to know that you were a part of making it happen. So don’t miss this opportunity to add your name next to Papa Shake’s, take the time to invest with Bray T Hart.

Sincerely,

Dear Potential Investor,

After great consideration we have decided to share our current opportunity with a small number of family members, friends, and colleagues.  We feel that this is an excellent opportunity and we would like to include you in this exciting project.

.           As many of you may know, starting in January, I invested a lot of time into purchasing Sal’s restaurant in Boutte.  After meeting many demands and raising the funds to purchase the business, Sal walked away from the sale of his restaurant.  This taught us an enormous lesson in commercial real estate and business.

I have been in the restaurant business since 1992.  In that time, I have developed my skills and grown as a professional.  I have earned several certifications, and gained recognition for my outstanding achievements in the culinary field.  I became the youngest person to become a Certified Culinary Professional, which is an honor granted by the International Association of Culinary Professionals.

We are aggressive, passionate, and successful individuals and when we work as a team, we have an outstanding recipe for a successful business.  Most often, when a company does not succeed, it is due to lack of knowledge, or poor financial management, which are areas that we as individuals have mastered.

We are now looking for investors to help our company to grow.  We thought you might be interested in learning more about our company and its plans for the future.  I am enclosing the Executive Summary from our Investment Proposal, as well as some promotional materials that describe our plans for Migliorie’s Grocery Store in greater detail.  We will follow up in a few days to see if you have any questions, and to discuss how your interests may fit our company's goals.

I look forward to talking with you soon.

Sincerely,

Edward Rhinehart
